The Château was a private hotel before STS acquired its long lease and is now run by our own management team. Accommodation is provided
in two buildings - the main Château and the adjacent Villa Mathilde in a courtyard setting. Both buildings are of the same excellent standard and each accommodates one full coach party.
The STS management team of British and French staff ensure that all parties enjoy not only the highest standards of accommodation but excellent food, and helpful local advice. A buffet breakfast is served and teachers will have limited free wine with the three course evening meal. There is the option of a hot or packed lunch.
We are able to offer the Château throughout the year, including July and August.

Group Inspection Visit By Coach
STS can organise inspection tours for party leaders and colleagues to see first hand the facilities of the Château du Baffy.
When you confirm a STS tour with over 35 paying passengers, you will automatically be offered a place and a second colleague place will be available for a net charge of £99. This tour is offered on a first-come first-served basis and capacity is strictly limited.

Location
The STS Château du Baffy lies on the edge of the small village of Colombiers-sur-Seulles just 2km from the picturesque village of Creully and 6km from the seaside town of Courseulles (Juno Beach in the Normandy landings of 1944).
The Château du Baffy enjoys an excellent location for the discovery of the historic centre of Normandy - being only 13km from Bayeux, 11km from Arromanches and 20km from Caen.
Château Meals
The food provided at the Château is enjoyable, imaginative and nutritious. All meals are prepared by the in-house catering staff, headed by our competent French Chef Thierry.

Facilities
In the main Château there is an attractive dining room overlooking the gardens, and a comfortable lounge with bar service.
The villa Mathilde, 50m away, has its own dining room, which can be used as a classroom, a games room and a sunterrace. The Château is set in attractive grounds.
Mountain bikes are available for hire on-site (at a small supplement) and there is also a football / basketball pitch (5 a side). There is a playing field nearby in the village and a golf course 20 minutes away. The beach resort of Courseulles is 6km away.
There are two premises and each accommodate one full coach party. The main Château building has 17 rooms divided over two floors. The Villa Mathilde has 16 rooms divided over two floors in two sections. All bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and have full private facilities.
