Our 2010/11 programme is packed with exciting educational itineraries and excursions, covering the entire range of National Curriculum subjects. On each destination page we have highlighted the main subjects covered using the following symbols in the table below.
At STS we believe that school tours provide direct and relevant experiences that deepen and enrich learning. We ensure that all our tours support the National Curriculum and the principles of the government’s Learning Outside the Classroom manifesto. As well as the educational benefits, our tours also help pupils with their personal development, stimulating curiosity and imagination and helping apply their knowledge across different challenges.
Study Breaks
STS also offer a number of curriculum based study breaks developed especially to enhance specific areas of learning. Situated in key destinations these courses offer students practical study combined with educational sightseeing and leisure opportunities.
