Travel: The landlocked Czech Republic is accessible via coach and ferry, or Eurotunnel. In country travel is fast and effective, with decent road networks.

Accommodation: STS offers half-board accommodation in modern hotels within Prague.

Weather: A continental climate gives the Czech Republic warm wet summers and cold dry winters. In Prague, expect lows of -4°C during winter and highs of 23°C in summer.

Spending money: An inexpensive destination by European standards, costs are steadily on the rise but students will still be pleased to find how far their koruna goes. Personal expenses are at the discretion of schools.
