Travel: Getting to France is quick and easy - groups can travel by coach, Eurostar or by air. In-country travel is efficient, with good roads, high-speed rail and an impressive network of regional airports.
Accommodation: From campsites to hotels, STS offers group accommodation, to suit all budgets and preferences. Groups staying in Normandy can do so at the magnificent Château du Baffy – an elegant eighteenth century Mansion, set in two acres of parkland.
Weather: A temperate climate makes France pleasant to visit throughout the school calendar. Southern regions are warmest, with scorching summers and mild winters, whereas northerly regions share a similar climate to England.
Spending money: Costs are generally lower than the UK, making school trips to France easily affordable. Take a few more Euros to Paris and other major cities. Personal expenses are at the discretion of schools.
