Take your business students to the crossroads of Europe to introduce them to a range of international business issues. Investigate some of the world's most famous global organisations and enjoy a fun day out at the amazing Europa-park.
Enable your students to compare small-scale independent and multinational corporations with a visit to a traditional local brewery and a tour of Kronenbourg or Heineken. Contrast production processes, identifying differing business objectives and channels to market. Take your group on a trip to Strasbourg; an important economic centre and official seat of the European Parliament. Your students can consider the locational factors that make this site of such a major economic and political significance in Europe.
Visit Stuttgart, birth place of the automobile and now home to the striking Porsche centre where students have the fascinating opportunity to watch mechanics working on the assembly line. Assess factors that motivate the Porsche workforce, and consider the business practices that make this product such an enduring success. Finish the tour with roller-coaster rides and excitement at Europa-park, Europe’s second largest theme park.
