5 Days to Loire Valley
Day 1:
Depart early from school and connect with your channel crossing. Arrive at your accommodation in time for your evening meal.
Day 2:
Visit the breathtaking Château de Chenonceau along the River Cher for a tour. Afterwards travel by coach to the village of Chambord for an afternoon performance at the Château de Chambord, the largest and most recognisable château in the Loire Valley.
Day 3:
Travel to Tours to visit a local confectioner’s and spend some time at leisure. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on the river Loire and then travel to the city of Orléans for a late afternoon concert at the Cathédrale d'Orleans.
Day 4:
Spend a day at Futuroscope, a theme park based on multimedia and audio-visual techniques and exhibitions. Visit the 3D and 4D cinemas, along with other attractions which are some of the only of its kind in the world.
Day 5:
Head for port. If time permits before your return crossing, visit a Hypermarket for some last minute shopping before returning to the UK.
