Music in Normandy

Normandy offers ample opportunities for choirs and bands to perform at a variety of venues. The history of Normandy is closely linked to its abbeys and churches; many of these provide excellent venues for choirs performing a sacred repertoire. The cathedrals of Caen and Rouen offer possibilities for choirs of a high standard. Honfleur Town Hall is an ideal venue for groups wanting a Norman setting and large audiences. Outdoor venues include the sea front or museum square in Arromanches, the gardens of our very own Château du Baffy and an evening concert in Courseulles. Concert groups can benefit from staying at our beautiful historic Château du Baffy, where a teaching room is available for music practice.
