Business Studies in India's Golden Triangle

Witness the diversity and staggering entrepreneurial spirit of an emerging BRIC country. As one of the world’s fastest growing economies, with a growth rate of 9%, India still faces immense challenges to shrink the gap between wealth and poverty.

Start your school tour at New Delhi, a global city of grand architecture and monuments constructed on the back of British Imperialism.  Enable your students to explore the crumbling splendour of Old Delhi and visit Chandri Chawk one of the oldest markets India. They can listen to local business experts from the UK / India Business Council, explaining the factors driving economic growth. Students will develop an understanding of the Industrial Corridor Project’s strategies to transform the region into a global manufacturing and trading base.

Stop at Faridabad to investigate production processes in a multinational manufacturing plant and visit the Mahindra World City, where students will be able to consider how public private partnerships are facilitating the movement towards India becoming a leading global player. Encourage them to evaluate the importance of tourism in generating growth as you enjoy Jaipur’s Amber Fort or the stunning Taj Mahal.
