Many of the beautiful churches in Krakow host concerts for choirs and orchestras alike. For a venue with a difference, choirs can perform a short recital in the underground Kinga's Chapel in the Wieliczka Salt Mines. Community centres, children's hospitals and cultural centres always welcome performing groups with great enthusiasm. In the summer months, outdoor stages are erected in the main square in Krakow and in some of the smaller nearby resorts. Choirs are also invited to take part in the prestigious international Cracovia con Anima Music Festival, taking place in June of every year.
