Located close to the French border, the region offers groups the possibility to have visits and performances both in France and Germany. It is possible to perform in the bandstands by the lakeside in Titisee and in Baden Baden or in the Spa resorts of Bad Krozingen and Bad Peterstal. Sacred choirs can sing at Mass at the beautiful Freiburg Cathedral or over the border in Strasbourg Cathedral; smaller churches in the area welcome choirs. The group also has the option of travelling across the border for a day trip to perform in the French Alsace region. Groups with an upbeat repertoire can perform at the Europa Theme Park.

5 Days to the Black Forest
Day 1:
Depart from school by coach and arrive at your accommodation for your evening meal.
Day 2:
Spend the day in the city of Freiburg. Perform a concert in the bandstand at the Stadtgarten.
Day 3:
Visit the Gutach Falls and the Black Forest Museum in Triberg. Perform a concert in the bandstand of the Kurpark at Titisee.
Day 4:
Cross the border into France and spend the day in Strasbourg: enjoy a river cruise, visit the Cathedral. Perform an evening concert in the Pavilion Josephine at the Orangerie Gardens.
Day 5:
Depart for your inbound journey after breakfast for an evening arrival back at your school the same day.
