Business Studies in Munich

This thriving Bavarian capital is a must for all car enthusiasts and it provides an interesting business studies trip in what has been called the world's most livable city. Modern Munich is a financial and publishing hub, known for its prosperity, low unemployment rate and social innovation. Explore the city and your students will see evidence of many international companies such as Microsoft and McDonalds; with several multinationals, including Siemens and BMW, locating their headquarters here. Delve behind-the-scenes at the Allianz Football Arena and take a fascinating tour of the extensive Olympic site where students can enjoy the views from one of the tallest towers in Europe.

For many the highlight of this trip will be a tour of the BMW factory, where your students will see the complex process of car manufacture from raw materials to the workings of the final product. Students can assess the conditions of the working environment and witness the high levels of quality control. It is also possible to contrast with a Mercedes Benz excursion in Stuttgart.

Round your school trip off with a fascinating tour of Munich’s airport. Pass through security to investigate freight buildings, the workings of the maintenance hangars and engine testing facilities before enjoying a VIP view from the observation deck.
