The Deutsches Museum is reason-enough alone to visit Munich, but don't stop there - whatever theme your students are investigating, Munich's impressive array of large-scale science attractions will hold the explanations they're looking for.
The world's biggest science and technology museum, the Deuches Museum exhibits around 28,000 scientific objects. In addition to its extensive range of exhibitions, students can benefit from access to the Experimental Laboratory and seminar rooms. Munich is also home to the sprawling English Garden – an immense park which stretches northwards across the city. The Munich Zoo Hellabrunn is a haven for wild animals and ideal for first-hand zoological study: the animals here live in large enclosures, according to their natural geographic distribution, allowing unobstructed safari-style viewing.
Visit the Hofbauhaus to investigate the brewing process. Witness the latest technological developments on the production line at the BMW factory. Or take a stroll through the English Garden and make links between science, medicine and creativity - pop into the Botanical Garden on your way past for some horticultural experimentation.
