Music in Berlin

The musical heritage of Germany's capital is undeniable. With an abundance of musical and historical activities for your group to discover, Berlin is an ideal location for any music tour. Visits to the Grassi Musical Instrument Museum, the Thomaskirche (made famous by Bach) or the Bach Archiv are not to be missed. A wide selection of venues, from the Berliner Dom to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial, make Berlin a suitable destination for a variety or repertoires. Leipzig can easily be incorporated in the tour as a day trip. The city boasts a rich musical heritage and Bach was Kantor at the Thomaskirche for twenty years. Especially recommended for choirs and orchestras, many of the churches in both cities welcome performances: the Berliner Dom and the Lindenkirche and the Nikolaikirche in Leipzig.
