The Costa Brava offers a wealth of performance opportunities and the Spanish make a very receptive audience. Groups who want to perform outdoors are warmly welcomed by local music festivals which attract large, appreciative, audiences. There are also bandstands in all the major towns along the coast including Calella, Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar, Salou and Barcelona. Indoor venues include hotels and local concert halls whilst Barcelona Cathedral, the Monastery of Montserrat and Tarragona Cathedral, offer potential venues for sacred choirs.
