Business Studies in Madrid

Put textbook business studies into context on a trip to one of Europe’s leading commercial cities. The striking architecture of Madrid’s business and financial zones say it all, this is a prosperous city chosen as a preferred location by many multinationals.

Take your students on a tour of El Pais, to observe the organisation, design and printing processes of Spain’s widest selling newspaper. Visit Danone to discover the challenges and solutions of yoghurt production. Or take a tour of Europe’s second largest Coca-Cola factory to assess the roles and responsibilities of different employees and observe how products are manufactured, bottled and sent to market. Investigate the workings of the Madrid Stock Exchange, discover the workings in a brewery or find out what it takes to process grapes from vineyard into finished bottles of wine.
