A Boston politics trip gives your students the opportunity to immerse themselves in two particular areas of study. Firstly, this was a hub of American Revolution and the 2.5 mile Freedom Trail led by a costumed guide takes in many of the relevant sites. Students will appreciate the context, listen to speeches and experience re-enactments of major events of the Revolution.
Secondly, your group can investigate one of the most significant modern Presidencies at the John F Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. The three hour guided programme explores crucial events and issues, such as the civil rights movement and Cold War through primary source documents and audio-visual materials. The museum holds a number of highly relevant exhibitions, including one on the 1960 election and another on Robert Kennedy’s period as Attorney General, it also houses a number of temporary exhibits.
