Business Studies in New York

An exciting trip offering your business students a fascinating insight into the workings of a global city. Founded as a trading post by Dutch colonists, New York has developed into a cultural capital exerting significant impact on the world’s commercial and financial industries.

Explore the historic and financial heart of downtown Manhattan and stroll down Wall Street, your students will spot the familiar names of the world's leading financial institutions, including the brilliant cylindrical display of NASDAQ in Times Square. New York’s Stock Exchange is the largest in the world. Take your students to visit the Federal Reserve Bank to investigate its central banking functions. Trace the history of money and descend fifty feet below sea level to the bedrock of Manhattan Island to find out how the New York Fed stores roughly 7,000 tons of gold!
