The order of activities in the tour is subject to change and there may be substitutions depending on seasonal availability.
- All activities detailed are included in the tour price.
- Entrance fees for excursions not included.
- A programme can be tailored to the requirements of your party based on your chosen activities. Please request a quotation.
- Rock climbing and Adventure park available at a supplementary charge except for 9 day Alpine Adventure where they are included.
- To participate in water based activities students must be able to swim at least 50 metres (written confirmation required).
- Life jackets will be provided. Water sports instructors will be qualified.
- The group will be divided into smaller groups for tuition. It is possible not all group members will be on the water at the same time.
- Students must provide tennis shoes and tennis rackets.
- We will be pleased to quote for extra days with your chosen activities.
Express Coach Travel Arrangements
Departing from your school and returning to school by full specification coach, arriving at your hotel on Day 2, departing from the hotel on the penultimate day.
Standard Channel Crossing
- Ferry: Dover to Calais: 1½ hours
- Other channel crossings: Available at a supplementary charge.
Eurotunnel: Folkestone to Calais: 35 minutes platform to platform.
Transfer Times
- Calais to Chapelle d'Abondance 11 hours
Air Travel Arrangements
- Depart UK to Geneva. Minimum group size 20 full paying passengers.

LOTC Badge / Adventure / Watersports
 Please note that currently the Adventure programme is not covered by the LOTC Quality Badge. The School Travel Forum and the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom are in the process of working together to clarify the criteria under which recognition can be given for adventurous activities such as the ones included in our Adventure programme.
All other STS Tours hold the LOTC Badge.

This delightful family-run hotel has proved to be a highly popular choice for school groups.

 Location: Situated in La Chapelle d'Abondance, the journey to Châtel takes around 10 minutes by coach.
Facilities: There is a large restaurant and an additional room which may be used as a meeting room. There is a bar with TV and a games room with pool table and TV.
Accommodation: The well furnished bedrooms sleep 2 - 6 persons with some in mezzanine style. All have bath or shower and WC and are of a high standard.
