Enjoy dramatic mountain scenery, delightful mountain villages and crystal clear lakes. During the summer months there are superb sports and leisure facilities.
The Haute Savoie in particular is a region that has a rich and varied history and STS itineraries feature a wonderful range of excursions to suit all tastes.
STS offers groups the opportunity to extend all tours to include an overnight stay in the Paris suburbs and a full day visit to Disneyland® Paris.
All of our arrangements are flexible and STS are happy to quote you for any variations you may choose.
Sample Itinerary - 7 DAYS TO FRENCH ALPS, FRENCH ALPS BY EXPRESS COACH
Day 1
Depart school. Connect with an evening channel crossing. Continue overnight in your full specification touring coach.
Day 2
Arrive in resort in the late morning for lunch, your first inclusive meal. Afternoon at leisure. Due to drivers' regulations your coach is not available.
Day 3-5
Excursions of your choice- Choose from our curriculum based excursion selection to tailor make your tour.
Day 6
Day at leisure in your resort. Due to drivers' regulations, your coach is not available until departure. After evening dinner return overnight to your Channel port.
Day 7
Connect with a morning Channel crossing, return to school.
Sample Itinerary - 8 DAYS TO FRENCH ALPS & DISNEYLAND® PARIS BY COACH
Day 1-5
As per sample Itinerary in tour information above.
Day 6
Depart the French Alps after breakfast taking packed lunch. Arrive at your Paris suburbs hotel for evening dinner.
Day 7
Depart hotel after breakfast (last meal) for full day at the Disneyland® Paris theme park (entrance pass is included in the cost of your tour). Depart Disneyland® Paris in the evening and commence your return journey to school.
Day 8
Return to school.
Sample Itinerary - 5 DAYS TO THE FRENCH ALPS BY AIR
Day 1
Depart the UK and travel to Geneva by air. Transfer to your accommodation is included in the tour price.
Day 2-4
Excursions of your choice- Choose from our curriculum based excursion selection to tailor make your tour. Your tour includes full day French coach hire.
Day 5
Coach transfer to Geneva airport (included). Return flight to the UK.
