Where France meets Germany. The province of Alsace has a character all of its own yet, lying close to the German border, it has strong cultural ties with the Rhineland.

Half-timbered houses and picturesque wooded valleys characterise the area. Alsace is also an ideal base for visits to Freiburg and the Black Forest in Germany and further afield to Basel in Switzerland. During the Christmas period there are charming traditional Christmas markets in this area.

All of our arrangements are flexible and STS are happy to quote you for any variations you may choose.
