St Malo - visit the ancient port of St Malo with its castle, imposing ramparts and fortified town, completely restored after almost total destruction in World War II. There are also markets at different locations in St Malo every day except Sunday. Visit the excellent aquarium - the largest in Europe. Dinard - Brittany's most fashionable seaside resort (with beautiful sandy beaches) situated on the Rance Estuary. There is a good selection of shops and a general market held at the Place du Marché every Tuesday and Thursday morning and all day Saturday. Dinan - a beautiful mediaeval town surrounded by 600 year old ramparts overlooking the Rance Estuary. Visit Saint Sauveur Church or climb up to the Château Duchesse Anne, an old keep with good views over the town. Rennes - the administrative capital of Brittany. Visit the half-timbered houses of the mediaeval town of Vieux Rennes, the opulent Palais de Justice, the Musée de Bretagne - the local history museum, the Musée des Beaux Arts and the Thabor Gardens, located within a former Benedictine abbey. Le Guildo, Fort la Latte and Cap Fréhel - a tour along the beautiful Emerald Coast. Visit the picturesque village of Le Guildo with its ancient castle ruins and Les Pierres Sonnantes (the ringing stones) near Erquy. Other interesting features along this coast include Fort La Latte, a 13th Century feudal castle joined to the mainland by drawbridges - during the summer months groups can visit the Cannonball Foundry located within the fort's tower.
History
Mont St Michel - known as the 'Merveille des Merveilles', and the eighth wonder of the world because of its island setting. Château de la Bourbansais - a 16th Century château which has been owned by a Count and Countess of Lorgeril for the past 400 years. The château is set in its own beautiful grounds which also contain a small zoo. Opening details on request. Fougères - the town is beautifully set on a promontory, overlooking the valley of Nancon. There is a magnificent feudal castle and the town walls with their 13 towers are considered some of the most impressive in Europe. The town centre is a pedestrian precinct.

Le Grand Aquarium, St Malo - allows you to experience underwater life without getting wet. Exhibits include hundreds of different species of fish, sharks, turtles and crocodiles and the only 360° aquarium in Europe.

Cider Farm - Pleudihen-sur-Rance Cancale Oyster Beds - Visit The Marine Farm with its exhibition of approximately 1,500 seashells from across the world. Guides are available to show guests through the marine farm and to discuss the history of oyster-farming.
