Coach Travel Arrangements

Departing from your school and returning to school by standard touring coach, arriving at your centre on Day 1 and departing from the centre on the final day.

Minimum group size: Coach tour price is based on 35 paying passengers. Supplements apply for smaller groups.

Standard Channel Crossing

• Ferry: Dover to Calais: 1½ hours
• Other channel crossings: Available at a supplementary charge.
  Eurotunnel: Folkestone to Calais: 35 minutes platform to platform.
  Portsmouth-Caen: 6 hours
  Portsmouth-Cherbourg: 4¾ hours
  Poole-Cherbourg: 4½ hours

• Calais: Agon-Coutainville: 7 hours; St Pair or Granville: 7½ hours.
• Cherbourg: Agon-Coutainville: 1½ hours; St Pair or Granville: 2 hours.

Agon-Coutainville

Close to Blainville and west of Coutances are the twin towns of Agon-Coutainville. Countainville is a fashionable seaside resort with a marina and fine sandy beach.

Le Home du Cotentin

Location: Occupying an ideal position just 50m from the seafront and in the centre of the resort.
Facilities: Two dining rooms, a meeting room, two classrooms, games room with table tennis, TV room, and a separate building where discos can be arranged.
Accommodation: Groups are accommodated in 46 simply furnished rooms in two wings, all rooms have private facilities. Maximum 4 pupils per room.
Meal Basis: Full Board.

Granville

Ozoir-la-Ferriére

A fortified port and popular seaside resort.

CRNG Granville

Location: The centre enjoys a seafront location overlooking the bay and Granville marina. The town centre is within easy walking distance.
Facilities: The centre has two dining rooms with sea views where meals are taken on a self-service basis. There is a large recreational area with TV, pool table and table football. There is also a bar.
Accommodation: Rooms are simply furnished and sleep up to 4. All rooms have full private facilities.
Meal Basis: Full Board.

St Pair-sur-Mer

This pleasant village has a superb beach with plenty of golden sand. St Pair-sur-Mer is less than 4km south of the picturesque town of Granville and only 20km from Avranches.

Centre La Porte des Iles

An excellent purpose-built centre.

Location: Standing in its own spacious grounds close to the village centre, with immediate access to the promenade and seafront.
Facilities: Restaurant, two dining rooms with outside terrace enjoying sea views and five classrooms, (may be used for project work or disco), activity room with TV. Outdoor heated swimming pool (unsupervised-open April to September).
Accommodation: There are two buildings, each with its own classroom. Bedrooms accommodate 2 - 5 people with en suite facilities and there are 2 single rooms on each floor with shower only (toilet facilities are located on the landing).
