Provence was settled by the Romans in the 2nd Century BC and became a province of the Roman Empire.  The name Provence comes frm the Latin Provincia.

 

Visitors are captivated by the unique scenes of the Camargue, the vineyards, the lavender fields of Vaucluse and he elegance that is Aix-en-Provence.  The special climate here suffuses everything with a light beloved of painters, poets and writers.

Day 1

Depart school. Connect with an early evening Channel crossing. Travel overnight on your coach.

Day 2

Arrive in resort in early afternoon. Afternoon at leisure. Due to drivers' regulations your coach will not be available for use.

Day 3 - 5

Excursions of your choice.

Day 6

Day at leisure.  Due to drivers' regulations your coach will not be available for use.  Depart in the evening for your overnight journey to the channel port.

Day 7

Connect with a morning Channel crossing. Return to school.
