Rising above the seeming tangle of streets and the alleys and courtyards of the old Plaka district, are the ancient, yet familiar, buildings which dominate the Acropolis.

Complemented by the warmth of the people, and their love of their capital, Athens is an absolute must for any visitor to Greece. At night the hectic daytime pace gives way to a lively atmosphere. An evening sampling the traditional food and folk dancing in one of the tavernas in the Plaka district is a memorable experience.

Sample Itinerary - 5 DAYS TO ATHENS BY AIR
Day 1	London to Athens by air. Transfer to your hotel for accommodation. First inclusive meal is evening dinner.
Day 2-4	Excursions of your choice Excursions are not included in the tour price. We will supply a price list for optional excursions by coach which can be pre-booked before you travel. The city can also be explored on foot and by using the local transport systems - the underground, tram and bus.
Day 5	Time at leisure in Athens subject to return flight times. Transfer, by coach to Athens airport for your return flight to London.
