Lake Garda Towns
Desenzano - See the old port, the picturesque Piazza Malvezzi, The Museum G Rambotti, San Martino della Battaglia Tower, The Cathedral and the Roman Villa with its multi coloured mosaics.
Sirmione - At the end of a 4 km peninsula this beautiful medieval town is famous for its thermal springs. See the 13th Scaliger Castle, The Church of St Pietro in Mavino and the extensive ruins of Catullus's Roman Villa.
Lazise - Surrounded by 14th century walls erected by the Scaliger family this picturesque town is dominated by the Castle. There are narrow alleys, shopping and a small fishing port.
Bardolino - Famous for its wine production, this is an attractive historic lakeside town.
Garda - Beautiful Medieval town centre with winding lanes and small squares. Fishing is still an important industry.
Torri del Benaco - Castrum Turrium in Roman times. Chief administrative town of the eastern Gardesana in the Middle Ages. See the port, Church of St Pietro et Paolo.
Malcesine - On a promontory at the foot of Monte Baldo, dominated by the Scaliger Castle. Take a cable car to the summit of Monte Baldo for a panorama of the lake and mountains.
Riva del Garda - Popular holiday resort at the North of the Lake with picturesque old town and castle.

Other Towns and Cities

Verona - A beautiful town and an important art centre. There are many Roman remains including the impressive amphitheatre, still used today most notably for operatic performances and as a theatre. Verona is also famous for the love story of Romeo and Juliet. See Juliet's famous balcony on the gothic palace which belonged to the Capulet family and Juliet's tomb in the cloisters of San Francesco al Corso.
Venice (Long Full Day) - Coach drop-off at Piazzale Roma from where you can continue your exploration of the city by foot or water bus. Take a water bus along the Grand Canal for a view of the sumptuous architecture, the Rialto Bridge and the activity on the waterways. See St Mark's Square, St Mark's Basilica, The Campanile, The Doge's Palace, The Bridge of Sighs and the Law Courts.
Milan - The capital of Lombardy and Italy's second city. Milan leads in the fields of commerce, industry and banking. The town is bounded by 2 concentric boulevards, the inner enclosing the medieval centre; the outer enclosing the Renaissance area. The rest of the city spreads beyond. The gothic Duomo was begun in 1386 and not finished until 1809. A popular visit is the San Siro Football Stadium.

Medieval Times - Medieval Dinner Show (May - mid September - limited opening April and October).
Rock Star Restaurant - All you can eat - rock themes restaurant (evenings only - opening days on request).
