Sample Itinerary - 10 DAYS TO ROME & VENETIA BY EXPRESS COACH
Day 1
Depart school. Connect with an afternoon channel crossing. Travel overnight on your coach.
Day 2
Arrive at your accommodation in Lido di Jesolo in the early afternoon. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy your resort. Your coach is not available due to driver's regulations.
Day 3-4
Excursions of your choice. We suggest the following:
Full day - to Venice. See Rome and Venetia air tour for description.
Full day - Verona and Padua.
Day 5
Depart in morning and transfer to Rome.
Day 6-7
Excursions of your choice. Two full days in Rome. See Rome for excursion suggestions.
Day 8
Depart Rome and travel to your overnight accommodation (usually in Jesolo).
Day 9
The morning is free to enjoy your resort. Your coach is not available due to drivers' regulations. Depart in the afternoon and travel overnight.
Day 10
Connect with a morning channel crossing. Return to school.
Sample Itinerary - 8 DAYS TO ROME & VENETIA BY AIR
Day 1
London to Italy by air. Transfer to your accommodation in Lido di Jesolo.
Day 2
The morning is free. In the afternoon visit Venice. A coach will take you to Punta Sabbioni near Lido di Jesolo. From Punta Sabbioni you can take a vaporetto Venetian water bus to St Mark's Square (fare not included).
Day 3
Full day to Verona and Padua by Italian coach included in your tour price.
Day 4
Day free to relax and enjoy Lido di Jesolo.
Day 5
Depart Lido di Jesolo after breakfast by coach and transfer to Rome.
Day 6-7
At leisure in Rome.
Day 8
Transfer to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
Sample Itinerary - 8 DAYS TO FLORENCE & VENETIA BY AIR
Day 1
London to Italy by air. Transfer to your Florence accommodation. Your first included meal is evening dinner.
Day 2-3
At leisure in Florence. Excursions in Florence are not included in the tour price. Florence itself can be explored on foot as the main points of interest are close to each other. There is also a local bus system and the train station in Florence provides access to towns such as Pisa.
Day 4
Depart Florence after breakfast in your Italian coach and transfer to Lido di Jesolo making a stop at Bologna, an old university city. Continue to Lido di Jesolo.
Day 4
Day free to relax and enjoy Lido di Jesolo.
Day 5
Full day to Venice. A coach will take you to Punta Sabbioni near Lido di Jesolo (included in your tour price). From Punta Sabbioni you can take a vaporetto (Venetian water bus) to St Mark's Square (fare not included). See the magnificent Square, St Mark's Basilica, The Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs and Law Courts. Take a vaporetto along The Grand Canal, Venice's principal waterway lined with beautiful palaces. Return by waterbus to Punta Sabbioni from where a coach will take you to your hotel.
Day 6
Full day to Verona and Padua by Italian coach. Verona is a beautiful town with a large Roman amphitheatre and associations with Romeo and Juliet. Padua is an art centre and place of pilgrimage.
Day 7
At leisure in Lido di Jesolo. No excursions are included on this day.
Day 8
Transfer to the airport for the return flight to UK. NB Entrance fees are not included in the tour price.
