The Bay of Naples is dominated by the twin summits of Mount Vesuvius, one of the few active volcanoes in Europe. The volcano smothered Pompeii and Herculaneum nearly two thousand years ago preserving their treasures and a record of Roman daily life. Tourists have been attracted to this region since Roman times because of the mild climate and beautiful scenery and today visitors are lured by the abundant classical ruins.

Morning - Visit to the National Archaeological Museum in Naples. Afternoon - Spent at the ruined city of Pompeii. Full day - Take the motorway to the archaeological site of Paestum. Full day - To Vesuvius and the ruins of Herculaneum.
Day 7
Depart in the morning with a packed lunch and travel to your overnight accommodation.
Day 8
The morning is free to enjoy your resort. Your coach is not available due to drivers' regulations. Depart in the afternoon with packed evening dinner, your last meal, and travel overnight.
Day 9
Connect with a morning Channel crossing. Return to school.
