Founded in 811AD, Venice developed into an empire reaching its peak in the 15th Century.

Today, this is one of the greatest art cities in the world, built on over one hundred islands and connected by nearly four hundred bridges.

 

The exceptional setting of Venice threatens its very existence. To discover its treasures, you must take both to the water by vaporetto (water bus) and explore on foot. Lido di Jesolo is the best known resort on the Venetian coastline, situated 48km north of Venice, with 16km of magnificent golden sands sloping gently into the sea.

Day 1

London to Italy by air. Transfer to your hotel.

 
Day 2-4

Excursions of your choice- Choose from our curriculum based excursion selection to tailor make your tour.

 

    We suggest
  • Full day in Venice - Start in St Mark's Square to see St Mark's Basilica, The Campanile, The Doge's Palace, The Bridge of Sighs and the Law Courts. Take a waterbus along the Grand Canal for a view of the sumptuous architecture, the Rialto Bridge and the activity on the waterways.
  • Boat trip to the Islands of the Lagoon - Murano, Burano and Torcello. This excursion can be completed by waterbus or private boat which can be pre-booked before you travel.
  • Accademia and Venice Lido - In the morning visit the Accademia to see one of Italy's finest art collections. In the afternoon - take a waterbus to the beach resort of Venice Lido.
Day 5 Transfer to the airport. Italy to London by air.
