Highlights include the bustling metropolis of Mexico City, the traditional charm of Guadalajara, the magnificent Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza and the incredible beaches of Acapulco or the Yucatan peninsula.
Whatever the itinerary students will be fascinated by the ancient civilisations, colonial history, outstanding geological features and modern day culture of this colourful country.

STS uses 3 star hotels located close to the historic city. Students will be accommodated 4 to a room in two large double beds. Accompanying adults on free placed share twin rooms. All single rooms carry a supplement. All rooms have private facilities.

Sample Itinerary - 8 DAYS DISCOVERY TOUR BY AIR
Day 1 — Fly from London to Mexico City by air. Meet your coach and tour guide and transfer to your accommodation.
Evening dinner and overnight Mexico City.
Day 2 — Morning city tour. Visit the Zocalo (Constitution Square), the centre of the old city. The Spanish built their city over the ruins of the Aztec Capital Tenochtitan. Artefacts from the ruins can be seen in the Templo Mayor and its museum. See the National Palace; its interior has patios, corridors and stairways with impressive murals by Diego Rivera. Also see the Metropolitan Cathedral, a perfect example of Colonial architecture.
Lunch is included in on this day. Continue to the Pyramids of Teotihuacan. See the huge pyramids of the Sun and the Moon and walk down the Avenue of the Dead.
On the return journey to Mexico City visit the Shrine of Guadalupe, one of the most venerated shrines in Central America.
Evening dinner and overnight Mexico City.
Day 3 — Travel south to the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco. The tour includes a boat trip on a typical traenera through the canals. You will be serenaded by Mexican Mariachi Bands and have an opportunity to buy local crafts.

Visit the Museum of Anthropology, the largest of its kind in Central America.
Evening dinner and overnight Mexico City.
Day 4 — Depart from Mexico City to Cuernavaca, "City of the Eternal Spring". This attractive colonial city is noted as having the most agreeable climate in the world and is full of flowers.
Continue to the Cacahuamilpa Grottos. About 20 chambers covering an area of 1.5 miles have been spectacularly illuminated to display impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Then continue to the ruins of Xochilcalco, this site flourished after the collapse of Teothihucan in about the 9th Century AD.

Arrive at Tequesquitengo for evening dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 5 — After breakfast depart for Taxco. This beautiful colonial town in the Sierra Madre is a UNESCO protected city. Originally a silver mining town, it is still the best place in Mexico to buy silver. See the beautiful Church of Santa Priscia. There is a daily market featuring local crafts and silver.
Depart in the afternoon and continue to Acapulco.
Accommodation in Acapulco will be on an all inclusive basis including all meals and drinks.
Day 6 — Day at leisure in Acapulco. Your coach and guide are provided on this day for local sightseeing. See the old town with its fortress, the resort zone with its numerous leisure facilities and the famous cliff high divers plunging into the sea.
Evening dinner and overnight Acapulco.
Day 7 — Morning at leisure.
Depart after lunch to connect with your return flight to London.
Day 8 — Afternoon arrival in London.
