Certainly the excitement of playing at an international venue is an experience a student will never forget. Whether you are a choir, a band or an orchestra, music tours help improve the musical ability, performance standard and cohesion of the group. They are a great way to attract new members to your group and increase the profile of the music department and the school.

STS offers a comprehensive range of accommodation, ranging from small family-run hotels offering a traditional welcome, excellent value for money and often sole occupancy, to purpose-built centres with a wide range of facilities for groups, such as rehearsal rooms, games rooms and sports activities. We also work with a number of well known hotel chains and associations.

Concert Promotion
We understand that an appreciative and sizeable audience makes all the difference to the success of concerts and the tour as a whole. STS therefore attach great importance to the planning and promotion of your concerts including:
Careful selection of venues and concert timings which take into account your musical style and target audience.
Inclusion of your Concert particulars in local What's On guides and event listings.
High quality eye-catching posters and leaflets to publicise concerts locally.
Venue Selection
In order to select venues that meet your group's individual requirements, we ask for the following information:

This information will allow your STS Music Specialist to match your musical style to the venues and ensure appropriate selections are made thereby maximising audiences and the benefits your group will enjoy.
We strongly advise booking early as the most prestigious venues usually require 12 months advance notice. Booking early will also mean more time for fundraising and allow you to take advantage of our substantial discounts.
STS Music Representative
A local STS Representative/Agent in each resort is available to offer our groups support and local knowledge in addition to liasing with the concert venues to ensure everything runs smoothly.
A major advantage of STS coach tours is that your coach conveniently collects your group, luggage and instruments from school, transports you to concert and excursion destinations and then returns you to your school at the end of the tour. This allows for a good deal of flexibility (subject to driver hours legislation) and easy supervision of the group.
STS recognise how the coach and driver(s) play a critical role in the success of your tour. For this reason we only work with a selection of well established and reliable British coach companies and the majority of our drivers are experienced at working with school parties and are aware of the special needs of our music groups.?All Coach Companies are subject to the stipulations of our Safety Management?System.
Coach Notes
Luxury Coach - At a supplement, STS can offer upgrades from a standard touring coach to a luxury touring coach. We are also able to obtain a limited number of air conditioned luxury touring coaches. These are also available at a supplement.
Trailers - although our coaches have generous luggage holds, they do have limits. We will ask you to complete an instrument list at the time of booking. Liaising with the coach company, we will consider whether or not the storage space within the coach is sufficient.
If it is insufficient we will advise you straight away and make alternative arrangements. Trailers are available at a supplement, prices on request.
Air Travel Arrangements
Flying is another option for STS groups. We work with the major UK low cost airlines in addition to scheduled air services. All of our air tours are based on a London flight from Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted or Luton.
Provincial flights are sometimes possible at a supplement, details on request.
We would also be happy to arrange a return coach transfer to your departure airport. Competitive quotations available on request.
