Sample Itinerary - 6 DAYS TO MUNICH BY EXPRESS COACH

  • Day 1 — Depart UK by coach, overnight travel to Munich.
  • Day 2 — Arrive in Munich in afternoon. Time for some exploration on foot or by public transport (cost not included). Due to driver's regulations your coach will not be available for use. Evening meal (first included meal).
  • Days 3 - 4 — Explore Munich and surrounding areas (see our Excursion Selection)
  • Day 5 — Day at leisure for sightseeing on foot or by public transport (cost not included). Due to drivers regulations your coach will not be available for use. Depart Munich in the early evening for overnight travel to UK.
  • Day 6 — Arrive in UK.

Marienplatz and Glockenspiel - In the heart of Munich. See the figures come out of the mechanical clock at 11.00 and 12.00 (and 5pm in summer).
Neues Rathaus - Enjoy splendid views across the city from the top of the 85m tower.
Altes Rathaus - An elegant Bavarian gothic building housing a Toy Museum.

Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site (WW11)
Berchtesgaden & Königsee (Full Day) - Visit Hitler's summer residence known as the Eagle's Nest (WW11).
Nürnberg (Full Day) - Historic city, restored and rebuilt after severe bombing in WW11. See the site of the Nürnberg rallies and the Court Room where the post war trials were held in 1945.
Neuschwanstein Castle - Bavaria's fairytale castle built in the 19th century by the eccentric King Ludwig II.
Herrenchiemsee Castle - Stately Palace of King Ludwig II, built on an Island in the Chiemsee Lake.
